“I want my audience to look at me as a regular person who has flaws and makes mistakes but works through them. I also want my audience to know that the most important thing to be able to do is to look themselves in the mirror and be proud.”

Born in Panama and raised in Cincinnati, OH. Aaron “AC The Entity” Coleman provides his listeners with a true audio experience, relatable to many. From the man who gets up at 5:00 a.m. to work the blue-collar job; to the backpacker on the way to his first day at the university; to the guy who caught a bad wrap and is now giving back to society as a productive citizen, his music resonates with those who share the commonalities in everyday living.

At a very early age, AC witnessed his neighborhood around him changing. “It was like, in just two summers, my friends went from being kids to having to make adult decisions. A lot of the people I grew up with ended up selling drugs. I noticed they were all standing on the block, in the cold, at least ten hours a day to potentially get caught and maybe only make twenty-five or thirty bucks sometimes. It wasn’t worth it to me.”

Those experiences taught him he didn’t have to follow suit and with that, he set out on a different path which was music. This was when AC began to inquire about what he could do as an artist, so initially, he started out as a producer. When asked why he made the transition to becoming an artist, he admits, “I got tired of people not using the beats the way I wanted them to so I started rapping over them myself.” With some of his influences including Bob Marley, Scarface, Pimp C, Nas, and Curtis Mayfield, he decided to be honest and speak his mind.

The authenticity in his music is that he doesn’t talk about things he hasn’t experienced firsthand as he offers candid dialogue to listeners. His delivery is more of a conversation rather than the “in-your-face” screaming bravado you typically get from artists. You can hear modesty in AC’s music as his message conveys the day-to-day motions of life everyone is challenged with.

AC also has a rich family history in music as his father, Walter Coleman, is a well-known figure in the Cincinnati music scene. Coleman was a member of the groups Micro-Wave and Blessed Union of Souls, earning a gold record with the latter group.

AC The Entity debuted with his album “The Experiment” in 2013 which included the single “Drunkness” serving as an ode to party-goers and liquor drinkers everywhere. 2017 saw AC’s return as he released the nine-track EP “Lost in the Details of Nothing” or L.I.T.D.O.N, featuring the hit single “One Time”, earning him notoriety in college radio. In 2019 he collaborated with producer MC Till to drop “Power” which saw his video debut with the track “Good Guy”, offering a glimpse into his daily life as a father. In 2020, he reveals his newly established brand and record company, respectively called “Greatness Displayed” also being the name of his latest EP.

AC The Entity has opened for various artists such as Juvenile, Cappadonna, Crooked I, and more, and has performed in countless venues throughout the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Tri-State area.

“I want for my listeners to see and feel my vulnerabilities in my music as I am showing them that it’s alright, to be honest with yourself. When you can do that, you have nothing to fear, nothing to hide and for me, that’s greatness displayed.”
